Here you can see some stained timber and some raw timber...we just wanted a little color to add warmth... We will put up all the timber the weekend of Sept. 12 - 14th - because there is no visible hardware we have to put it all up at once...some of it will be tension fitted (no hardware attaching it to each other).

This picture really doesn't do these trusses justice. For example - the top and bottom cords are 8" x 8" - the lower cord is 18' long - there is one bolt going from the peak all the way down the straight 6"x6" in the middle to the bottom cord - we will actually put a little wood cap on the bottom cord in the middle to cover the bolt hole.ALL the timber we are using was cut down at the Bjerke cabin property - it was all bud worm killed standing dead.
