House Update!

I realize there haven't been very many pictures of the house project lately...doesn't mean we aren't working on it! We have been finishing the framing downstairs as well as furring out the concrete walls (adding a 2x4 wood stud wall - for insulation, wiring, etc...). We got our chimney cavity insulated and our woodstove installed...AND it works! We had a plumber at the house last week for a couple of days doing the plumbing rough-in. He will be back to run pex tubing for our water supply lines and hook up our radiant floor tubing to our boiler. We still have to install pex tubing on the main floor and pour gypcrete. We are ordering our plumbing supplies (baths, toilets, sinks). Also, we are framing our recessed ceiling in the dining room. The big project right now is placing electrical outlet and switch boxes - as well as the lighting boxes and wiring. We are in the process of soliciting bids for insulation (which is the next step after plumbing and wiring is complete). After the insulation will be drywall - or sheetrock.... SO....we are making progress...if they weather will just stay on our side we will be doing great. With approximately three weeks until baby girl arrives...we just want to get as much done as we can!!
