Well, we are almost done!!
A couple more weeks of work and we will be able to move in!! Not that we will be COMPLETLY done at that point, but it will just be a few little things here and there to finish. We are really excited!

Our last big project was to stain our concrete floor. It was A LOT of work! First we had to scrap ALL the paint and other things off the floor - then we had to scrub it - then we had to use a big floor scrubbing machine to wash it. At the same time we had to protect all our walls and wood trim with plastic and tape. Then it was time to apply the stain - which we did with a sprayer. Then we had to wait for it to dry. Then the really tedious part was cleaning the residue from the stain off the floor. We had to scrub and clean and rinse each section at least 10 times - because if you don't get all the residue off the sealer won't adhear properly. UGH!! David and I just got done applying the second and final coat of sealer last night.... The one above is where our stove goes....before....the picture below is that same area after the first sealer coat. I didn't get any pictures of the stain without sealer....it looked totally different! The sealer really brings out the color..... We love it!
