Normally those mountains in the distance are deep blue and very clear...there are a couple of fires around the Helena Valley right now - creating very smokey air conditions. Sometimes it is hard to breathe because of all the smoke. One of the fires is in a wilderness area & it is classified as a "let it burn" area...which means they don't fight it unless dwellings are in danger.
Here is the house we are renting from my Dad. We live in the top two floors - 3 bedroom house. Some history: House was built in the 1880's in Townsend, MT (30 miles from Helena). For a stint in the 1900's it was used as a post-partum care center. The woman who moved this house from Townsend was actually born in it when it was used as a hospital! Crazy! It was moved to this lot 7-8 years ago. Behind the photographer is 43 acres of grassland and a creek. Jake and Thor are in Heaven. (if you look closely you can see me standing with them.) This green color is a new paint job - used to be mustard yellow! (UGLY)
She loves her ducky!! She started to sit up by herself a couple of weeks ago.
