Mid Sept. house update

Here is the style of lighting we have on our mainfloor. It's a bronze color and the glass is creamy frosted glass. This light is a sconce in my window seat.
So...we were going to wait on the garage, but we decided to see if we could afford the basement and slab at least - that way we would have a place to park and to store stuff in order to finish the house. So, the same guy that milled all our timber and build our timber trusses is constructing our garage basement and slab for us. Our garage will be two stories when completed. The basement will be where we store the 4-wheeler, law equipment, gardening equip. and David's project car. It actually has two garage doors. The main floor of the garage will be where we park the cars - this is future. For now we will just have the basement and a slab up above to park on. If we want - we will be able to park our cars in the basement part for the winter.

We are getting close to getting the siding around to the front of the house. We have all walls on the back side done (except for the one that butts to the garage). Now David and my Dad are working on the side of the house....next....front!! The front will be much easier...one story....not as many cut-arounds (venting, electrical outlest, lights, etc...)
David spent a couple of hours last Saturday with the help of a master door installer and got a bunch of our doors installed!! Yeah.....Here is Payton in front of her closet.
